Process

+ Step One | Brand Workshop Review + Visual Discovery

Project officially begins. We’ll start off the beginning of the week with a phone call to review the brand workshop. Our designer and project management will be on this call so we are certain we get all the details. Set aside one hour of time. Then we’ll jump into an intense week of sketching, review all inspiration (pinterest board) and conceptualizing.

+ Step Two | Creative Delivered + Refinement

Three cohesive visual brand directions are created. Primary and secondary logos are developed. Colors, style, emotion and imagery are defined. We will upload concepts to Basecamp. After initial creative is delivered, you will have the opportunity to give feedback for your first round revisions. Your detailed feedback is crucial and appreciated.

+ Step Three | Final Revisions

Our goal is to keep you on budget and deliver a brand that is amazing. By now we are making final tweaks and revisions and well on our way. This week is dedicated to completing the final brand visuals.

+ Step Four | Mechanicals + Brand Guide

Once the visual brand has been finalized, a brand style guide will be created. All the final files are delivered to you in a pretty little package, well really a digital folder, and we’ll schedule a call to review your brand guide with you. On this call we will be discuss putting the story of your brand into action. How to utilizing social media and digital strategy. We’ll use the design and we have created to construct a plan unique to you.

 
 

Questions

+ Logos + Marks

The cornerstone of your company’s visual identity. You’ll receive a final arsenal of logo files suitable for every application.

+ When will I receive design files?

You will receive the optimized files after the design phase is complete and you may use them within the guidelines outlined. You will not receive font files, simply font suggestion which you can download or purchase online.

+ What about payment?

We know what comes around goes around. This is our gift to you.

+ How soon can I start?

Our policy is to only take on a small number of clients at a time to ensure quality. It depends on the schedule and how quickly you are able to begin, but we generally book out two months in advance. We will send you the Brand Workshop so you can get started on the deep-digging questions until our start date once you claim your spot.

+ Terms for Website

SCHEDULE: To be determined by the Client and HONOR. Once the HONOR designer has begun work on a project, any delay more than 5 days of inactivity may invalidate the project. HONOR has no obligations to continue the services or complete the project. This means you should plan to be available and dedicated the four week of your design. We work with one point person and train that same point person on SKYPE at the end of project. The point person is responsible for teaching other employees if needed.

REVISIONS: This estimate is based on certain parameters given by the client. This option includes three directions to choose from and two rounds of revisions. Revisions and administrative fees incurred beyond this estimate will be billed at an hourly rate of $150/hour. Client will be notified if project exceeds parameters of this estimate. materials.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: Client agrees that it shall not hold HONOR or its employees liable for any incidental or consequential damages that arise from the Designer’s failure to perform any aspect of the Project in a timely manner, regardless of whether such failure was caused by intentional or negligent acts or omissions of the Designer or third party. Client assumes all responsibility for the copywriting and/or trademarking of all names and marks.

OWNERSHIP AND RETURN OF ARTWORK The Client acknowledges and agrees that HONOR retains ownership of all original artwork, in any media, including digital files, whether preliminary or final. The Client waives the right to challenge the validity of HONOR’S ownership of the art subject to this agreement because of any change or evolution of the laws. Honor may display the Deliverables in our portfolios and websites, social media.

COPY PROTECTION The Client must protect all final art which is the subject of this agreement against duplication and alteration. Client must not re-sell their own HONOR design or use in a franchise without new terms and payment. Client may not duplicate or share our Branding Workshop procedures or use them for their own clients.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY: Any and all intellectual property rights to any and all designs created by HONOR under the terms of this Agreement shall remain the property of HONOR until such time as the full invoice has been paid in full.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION Any disputes in excess of one thousand (1,000) US dollars arising out of this Agreement shall be submitted to binding arbitration before the Joint Ethics Committee or a mutually agreed upon arbitrator pursuant to the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The Arbitrator's award shall be final, and judgment may be entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof. The Client shall pay all arbitration and court costs, reasonable attorney's fees, and legal interest on any award of judgment in favor of HONOR.

PHOTOGRAPHY + ILLUSTRATION Illustration and Photography will be billed separately, if needed. HONOR is not responsible for permission of images provided or talent releases.

The specifications for your brand colors used by print vendors and web developers to ensure your brand colors will be the same across each application including Pantone, CMYK, RGB, and web codes.

+ Brand Guide

An identity manual that ensures consistency in future communications. It contains logo usage rules, color palette, typography recommendations, and examples of the brand elements correctly used in various applications.

+ File Usage Guide

A cheat sheet that explains the differences between the logo file formats you’ll receive: EPS, JPG, PNG, PDF and when to use each one.
