Yearly Co. is a Nashville-based jewelry company designing 14k anniversary bracelets and rings that tell a story. Each gold piece represents a year of marriage. The perfect gift. Year after year.
After reviewing Yearly's Brand Discovery and Pinterest board, we created a Pinterest board of our own inspiring photography, type, colors, and texture. (Check out this link for creating your own pinterest board.) Our goal was to design a brand that tells the Yearly story and resonates with their audience.
Here’s how we broke out our four-week process.
+ WEEK ONE | BRAND WORKSHOP REVIEW + VISUAL DISCOVERY
Project officially begins. We’ll start off the beginning of the week with a phone call to review the brand discovery. Our designer and project management will be on this call so we are certain we get all the details. Set aside one hour of time. Then we’ll jump into an intense week of sketching, review all inspiration (pinterest board) and conceptualizing.
+ WEEK TWO | CREATIVE DELIVERY + REFINEMENT
Three cohesive visual brand directions are created. Primary and secondary logos are developed. Colors, style, emotion and imagery are defined. We will upload concepts to Basecamp. After initial creative is delivered, you will have the opportunity to give feedback for your first round revisions. Your detailed feedback is crucial and appreciated.
+ WEEK THREE | FINAL REVISIONS
Our goal is to keep you on budget and deliver a brand that is amazing. By now we are making final tweaks and revisions and well on our way. This week is dedicated to completing the final brand visuals. We made a few tweaks to Yearly's chosen board and ended up here.
+ WEEK FOUR | MECHANICALS + BRAND GUIDE
Once the visual brand has been finalized, a brand style guide will be created. All the final files are delivered to you in a digital folder and we’ll schedule a call to review your brand guide with you. On this call, we discuss putting the story of your brand into action and how to utilize social media and digital strategy. We’ll use the design we have created to construct a plan unique to you.
After the branding project has been completed, we move onto supportive collateral including stationery, printed materials, social media graphics and web design.
